The Second Coming - are they friendly?

What are the odds? Are UFO's real?

by Vox Stellarum

So much has been reported by too many people of the same kind of events to ignore the phenomena known as "UFOs".

What they are and what they represent is a matter still open to question - but questioned it must be!
Officially they do not exist! Having said that many world Governments have spent an awful amount of money either chasing shadows or hiding the truth. Because of the way the subject has been handled I would err on the side of the latter. I do believe that there is more to the phenomena than has been admitted so far!

It is not enough for 'scientists and 'experts' to say that visits to this planet by alien lifeforms is impossible. It flies in the face of logical thinking and reason.

I believe that there is suffiecient evidence to accept that visitors from 'elsewhere' have, and still are making contact with us humans.
For what reason, on the face of it, to me is obvious. they do not wish us to progress out into space and pollute the universe. We are still in the 'Dark Ages' so far as being an evolved species. I do not side with those who believe that they mean us harm. What would be the point? If another species did wish to come to our planet to take us over then they would have done so long ago!

Firstly, we have to stop ourselves from thinking so short term. A hunman generation is so short that our collective memories are only a couple of generations ago!
We know nothing beyond what someone has written down, and even printing is a new medium in the span of things - earthwise, that is. Experts will offer all sorts of reasons why their words should carry more weight than those who disagree with them. They are better educated to the reamls of debate, but that does not give them the key to truth and reason.

I like the definition of an expert which was put forward by a local politician, of all people.

"An 'expert' is someone who comes from more than 30 miles away."

I endorse his reasoning. Just because we do not know someone, and they are very eloquent in speech and demeanour, we assume that they know better than we do! Well, from my life experience the best 'expert' that I know is me! I have to live with the consequences of my 'expertise' - I can't hide from my peers because I live among them. I am not able to make a statement, leave the debate, and return to obscurity. By not being an 'expert' I have to remain exposed to the view of my peers and friends.

To assist in reaching a conclusion with regard to ufos I would suggest that 'in depth' research and reading is a requirement. It will include coming to conclusions that at times seem to defy reason!
In the end you will come to a reasoned 'belief', understanding, and knowledge of the phenomenum. Even if you do not come to a definitive viewpoint, at least you will have shown greater intellect than those who just scoff in ignorance, and rely on the 'expert' from 30 miles away.

I will set links to various sites where further information may be obtained when I have more time, or a response from you the reader. Drop me some email!
